Installation

Use Weather Station for Barometer on macOS, Windows, and Linux. Mac and Windows installers are also on the website. See our installation guide for step-by-step instructions.

Troubleshooting

Plugin doesn't appear in my DAW

Run a plugin rescan in your DAW's preferences. Verify the published format at its standard location: macOS VST3: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/; macOS AU: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/; macOS AAX: /Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/; macOS CLAP: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/CLAP/; Windows VST3: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\Barometer.vst3; Windows CLAP: C:\Program Files\Common Files\CLAP\Barometer.clap; Linux CLAP: Barometer.clap in a standard CLAP directory visible to the host.

Meters not responding

Check that audio is playing through the track Barometer is inserted on. Verify the track is not muted or bypassed. Click the reset button to clear any stale measurements.

LUFS readings seem wrong

Ensure Barometer is the last plugin in the chain (after all processing). Reset the integrated measurement before starting a new pass. Barometer uses ITU-R BS.1770-4 - readings may differ slightly from meters using older standards.
