Help/Ceiling/Presets

Presets

Ceiling presets are starting points for release behavior and delivery. Always check the loudest part of the actual program after loading one.

Style

Transparent, Modern, Loud, and Safe load the corresponding release behavior at a neutral starting ceiling.

Streaming

Streaming presets provide practical ceiling and style starting points. They do not master the program to a loudness target automatically.

Delivery

Delivery presets configure an output-oriented starting point. CD Red Book also selects 16-bit output dither; the default output depth is 24-bit.

A/B comparison

Use A/B to keep two complete Ceiling states and switch between them. This is useful for comparing release styles or delivery settings without rebuilding either setup.

Save and recall

Saved presets recall the limiter controls and output-delivery state. After loading a preset, confirm CEILING, GAIN, OS, and the intended output bit depth before exporting.
